Boy punished for saying mom is gay
The ACLU on Monday lambasted a Louisiana school that punished a 7-year-old boy after he was overheard by a teacher explaining to a classmate that his mother is gay. The teacher told the boy that “gay” is a bad word that shouldn’t be said in school. The boy was later forced to write “I will never use the word ‘gay’ in school again.”
