Judge nicks state’s kid porn law
A Tennessee county judge on Tuesday struck down a section of the state’s law on child pornography that criminalized pornographic material that appears to show minors, whether or not there is proof the participants are under age. That clause could lead to the conviction of a person for possessing pornography “even when an actual minor is not used,” the judge ruled.
