If a married woman has sex with another woman, is that adultery? The New Hampshire Supreme Court on Friday said no in the case of a husband who accused his wife of adultery after she had a sexual relationship with another woman. The court cited a Webster’s dictionary definition that mentions intercourse and an 1878 case that refers to adultery as “intercourse from which spurious issue may arise.”

Police in southern Japan arrested a man for stealing shoes at a local hospital, then later stumbled upon a collection in his home of 440 women’s shoes–all for the left foot. Ichiro Irie, 45, told police he had “a penchant for women’s feet.” It remains unclear why he seemed to prefer the left foot.
